With over 15 years of veterinary and academic experience spanning clinical medicine, teaching, and professional certification, Dr. Elshafey brings both deep expertise and personal understanding to every AVEC program. From Local Practice to Global Perspective After earning his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) from Cairo University, Dr. Elshafey began his career in mixed-animal practice in Egypt, where he quickly developed a passion for clinical excellence and continuing education. However, his desire to expand his professional reach led him to pursue advanced veterinary credentials abroad.

Hi, my name is Efterpi! I graduated cum laude with a Bachelors of Science in Biology and a minor in Health Care Management. I am currently enrolled at North Carolina State University, and I am in the process of obtaining my Masters of Science in Animal Science. I have tutored several students in various disciplines of science, such as anatomy and physiology, biology, and chemistry. I have been tutoring students since 2018. I have experience as a science tutor for both high school and college students.
